Legion Week is an opportunity to shine a light on all we do and to encourage others to join us. Come join us for Legion Week!

2023 Legion Week Events
Drumheller
Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 22
- Sep 17: Levee starting @ 4pm, Moose Milk and get together (NO JEANS or T-SHIRTS), followed by Movie @ Napier Theatre (Warhorse) 7pm
- Sep 18: Parade 6pm start @ the Legion to the Cenotaph and back
- Sep 19: VETERANS ONLY (+ 1 Guest) 6pm – Beef on a Bun
- Sep 20: 5:30pm start Social Club gathering for Cubs/Scouts/Guides/Sea Cadets Hotdogs/ Popcorn and a Pop
- Sep 21: Seniors Gathering 2-4pm, coffee and sweets
- Sep 22: Meat draws
- Sep 23: PIN night and awards (by invite only). Dinner @ 5:30. If you are not on the invite list and want to attend for dinner the cost is $15.00 per person.
Hanna
Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 25
- Our local government has been contacted.
- We are opening our clubroom on Friday Sept 22 for a memorabilia night.
- Our local museum has contributed newspaper artifacts from the last century to enhance this evening.
High River
Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 71
- Sep 17: Veterans luncheon
- Sep 18-19: free coffee and donuts from 8:30 – 11:00
- Sep 18: dedication of memorial bench at RCAF Memorial Site
- Sep 20: Volunteer Appreciation Supper
- Sep 21: Veterans bus trip to Military Museum in Calgary with a stop at Centennial Branch for lunch
- Sep 22: Entertainment by Randy Poirier
- Sep 23: Pancake Breakfast from 8:30 – 1100. The Rotary are cooking and all proceeds to the Legion.
- Sep 23: Regular meat draw and bar staying open till 2100 hrs. for the car show burnout.
- Sep 18-19-20 and 21: One of us will be on the radio each morning to talk about National Legion Week and other branch happenings. The AB/NWT rep for the Pilgrimage of Remembrance will be speaking on the radio on the 21st and talking about her amazing trip.
Rimbey
Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 26
- Sep 17: Pancake Breakfast from 9 to noon at the Rimbey Legion Hall
- Sep 18: Monday – free coffee sponsored by the Rimbey Legion at the Bluebird Cafe for the first 50 people between 8 and 10 am.
- Sep 20: Wednesday – free coffee sponsored by the Rimbey Legion at the BISTRO Cafe for the first 50 people between 9 and 11 am.
- Sep 22: Friday night Bingo – with door prizes to celebrate Legion Week. A very affordable date night or night out with friends. A player can play all games including all 3 specials for $11. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Games start at 7:00 PM sharp.
