The Royal Canadian Legion, Alberta-NWT Command and Branches can be found supporting communities and helping to promote Remembrance.
The Legion’s role is to encourage the public to Remember the sacrifices made by men and women in Canada’s Armed Forces and their families since the First World War.
It has always been the Legion’s great honour and privilege to take responsibility for Remembrance and the Poppy Campaign. It is our duty to make sure that its observance will continue in perpetuity. Let’s plan for the future — and make more and more people aware of the work that we do behind the scenes.
