What does the Legion do?

How do I become a member? - Print and fill out an application. Go to your local Branch and pay the fee. That's all there is to it.

Does the Legion pay for Funerals? – No. You need to apply to the Last Post for expenses related to the burial of Veterans. Call: 1-888-495-3766

What are the fees for Membership? - Each Branch has their own fees. Please contact your local Branch for fee information.

What are the etiquette rules for flying a flag?

How do I find a friend who I think is a member? – Personal information on our members is NOT given out. You may contact the Legion Magazine about posting an ad.

How do I find Information on a family member?

How do I get a mailing list of all the branches? – The General Public is unable to get a mailing list of our Branches.

Does the Legion have scholarships? – No. We have bursaries which are available through the financial aid offices of some of the schools.

When I put money in a Poppy Box, where does it go? – Poppy Funds are Public funds and are kept in a trust account until there is a request. Requests are scrutinized closely to ensure funds are being used for their intended purposes.

How do I donate to the Poppy Fund? – Year round, our two Poppy Offices accept donations of monies and food for the Poppy Fund.
